Hosted by: African Women Lawyers Association, Nigeria Chapter – Enugu State Branch
Everyone needs this life-saving skill. Yes, you.
To every woman, girl, man, and boy — CPR is not just for doctors or first responders. It’s a must-have skill for parents, teachers, lawyers, students, market women, drivers, and community leaders.
You never know when it will be needed.
It could be today, tomorrow, or any day you least expect— a child choking at home, a colleague collapsing at work, a stranger on the street.
In those seconds, will you freeze… or will you act?
Join AWLA Enugu as we equip you with certified, hands-on CPR + Basic Life Support training. No medical background needed.
Why with AWLA?
We believe empowered citizens build safer communities. When you know CPR, you become someone’s second chance.

In commemoration of this year’s Children’s Day celebration, the members of AWLA Warri, Delta, paid a heartfelt visit to the Children’s Ward of the General Hospital, Ekpan Community, bringing love, encouragement, and support to children receiving medical care.
The visit, which was marked by compassion and kindness, was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the children and showing solidarity with their families during their period of hospitalization. Members of the association interacted warmly with the children, offered prayers, words of encouragement, and donated essential items to support their welfare.
Speaking during the visit, representatives of AWLA Warri emphasized the importance of showing care and attention to children, especially those facing health challenges. They noted that Children’s Day is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity to extend love and hope to vulnerable children within the community.
The management and staff of the hospital expressed appreciation to AWLA Warri for the thoughtful gesture and for remembering the children during the special occasion. Parents and caregivers also commended the association for the visit, describing it as uplifting and encouraging.
The outreach reflects AWLA Warri’s continued commitment to humanitarian service, community development, and the promotion of child welfare in Delta State.
As the world celebrates children, AWLA Warri reiterates the need for collective responsibility in protecting, nurturing, and supporting every child to achieve a brighter and healthier future.
